Critically acclaimed?

Here in the UK Farrah are planning some October dates to road test new material (and new people!). Over in the US the critical praise continues….

“Summer is the perfect time for such sweet musical sunshine. Head to the beach in your convertible, wax up your handlebar moustache, and crank these Farrah tunes as loud as you can”.
Gary Glauber @ popmatters.com

“Farrah drives home the fact that great pop is great pop.”.
Bruce Hartley @ Figgle.com

“Maybe more bands ought to try the drink and think approach instead of the drink and sink ending”.

Busy week

It’s been a good week on the gigging/ celeb spotting front.

On monday we went to see the Jeevas (crispian from Kula Shaker’s

new band) at a heaving Water Rats. They

rocked in a retro way and even had Chrissie

Hynde toe tapping down the front. On tuesday it was the eagerly awaited Jason Falkner gig at Dingwalls. We spotted Fran from Travis looking suspiciously like Christopher Lillicrap. Shame the gig was acoustic although it was still a great night. For you youngsters, Jason Falkner was in ‘Jellyfish‘ and also made a couple of great solo albums. xx
